NIGHT VISUAL
FLIGHT RATING (NVFR)
The Night Visual Flight Rating (NVFR) allows you to operate a single-engine piston aircraft at night under Visual Flight Rules (VFR), opening up new flying experiences and enhancing your skills and confidence.
DISCOVER A
NEW PERSPECTIVE
The NVFR training program equips you with the knowledge, skills and experience to fly safely at night, manage visual references in low-light conditions and operate confidently in the unique environment of night flying.

FOCUSED TRAINING
FOR REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE
Our NVFR program combines theoretical knowledge with practical night flying experience, enabling you to operate safely under night VFR conditions and gain confidence in low-light environments.
FROM DAY VFR TO CONFIDENT NIGHT OPERATIONS
Your training progresses from night-flight theory and visual-reference techniques to circuit work, navigation and confident night operations.

EXPAND YOUR
FLYING WINDOW
NVFR privileges allow you to extend visual flight operations into the night environment within the applicable limitations and operating rules.
- Operate single-engine piston aircraft under VFR at night
- Conduct take-off, navigation and landing at night
- Carry passengers on non-remunerated flights where permitted
- Conduct VFR night cross-country flights
- Exercise privileges in accordance with applicable regulations and licence limitations
